Last week, Li & Fung’s Human Resources and Fung Academy’s The Program for Management Development (PMD) team were awarded a total of four Asia Recruitment Awards!

Hosted by Human Resources Magazine, the Asia Recruitment Awards recognizes and celebrates HR professionals across Asia that have pushed for excellence and outstanding recruitment strategies and execution.

Congratulations to the teams for winning the following awards:

	‘Best Global Recruitment Strategy’ – Gold Award The team was recognized for re-imagining the talent assessment process by bringing artificial intelligence (AI) and data science into recruitment decision making. Last year, HR introduced a new hiring system named HireFit, that unifies HR to work alongside emerging technology.
	‘Best Onboarding Experience’ – Silver Award The team was awarded for digitizing critical touchpoints of the onboarding process via digital platforms including our Workday pre-boarding portal as well as DigiEntation and DigiStarter, an exciting onboarding journey that focuses on speed, innovation and digitalization, and designed for new hires to build on their digital readiness during their first 90 days on the job.
	‘Best Candidate Experience’ – Silver Award The team recently implemented DocuSign into the onboarding process, an online platform which has turned the signing and receiving of the ‘New Hire Packet’ into a seamless, user and environmentally friendly process with a 70% improvement in efficiency and operational cost savings of US$400,000.

‘Best Recruitment Evaluation Technique’ – Gold Award
After keen competition between 20+ companies across Asia, the PMD team was awarded gold for applying rigorous assessment and selection techniques in the recruitment process. This ensures that the selected candidates are a good fit for the Group and have the potential to develop into future business leaders.
