Ever wonder how data science could play a role in your job? Fung Academy recently held a 10-week introductory data science course to equip the Group’s colleagues with data analytics skills which can be incorporated into their daily roles. At the end of the training, participants shared how they used data science to solve a ‘real-life’ problem at work.

Some of the projects included:

· Predict if a factory will pass inspection based on product specification, facility location and past inspection history

· Estimate customer inventory supply based on following months sales/ inventory trend and seasonality
